Description: A strong, round stick crafted from fine old medium brown pernambuco. Silver mounted with 'Sarasate' stamped on the ferule and 'Sarasate Virtuose' on the stick, it has been re-haired and ready to play.

Supplied with a J F Raffin certificate of provenance.

Characteristics: This bow produces a clear, full and crisp sound. Finely balanced with a comfortable combination of flexibility and strength.

Background: Made by J.Thibouville-Lamy, Sarasate Vituose bows are regarded as being amongst the best from the firm. They were produced by the firms very best bowmakers, many of whom went on to set up their own highly successful workshops.
